Shenandoah Peach

Makes one cocktail.

  • 1½ ounces Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 ounce peach tea simple syrup*
  • 3 dashes peach bitters
  • Peach slice to garnish

Combine ingredients in glass. Stir and garnish with peach slice.


*Peach Tea Simple Syrup: 3 cups water, 3 cups sugar, 4 peach tea bags; Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over moderately high heat. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat before adding tea bags and let steep for 20 minutes before straining out tea bags. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Yields 3 cups.
