Lavender Lemonade

Makes one cocktail.

  • 1 ½ oz Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky                             
  • tsps fresh lemon juice                       
  • tsps lavender honey syrup* 
  • Lavender bitters
  • Lemon wedge for garnish    

 Mix all ingredients in a glass over ice.  Top with 2 dashes lavender bitters. Stir and garnish with lemon peel. 


*Recipe for lavender honey syrup: Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup honey, ½ cup lavender flowers and ¼ cup mint leaves. Combine honey, hot water, lavender flowers, and cup mint leaves (or 2 Tbs premade spearmint simple syrup) into a saucepan and heat until boiling. Remove completely from heat and let steep for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Refrigerate and store for up to 2 weeks. Yields 1 ½ cups
