Into The Woods

Makes one cocktail.

  • 1 ½ oz Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky 
  • ¼ oz cinnamon syrup* 
  • 2 drops Blackwater Bitters Company Rosemary bitters 
  • 2 drops Blackwater Bitters Company Cedar bitters 
  • Green Chartreuse  

 In an old fashioned glass, add a splash of Green Chartreuse and rinse glass thoroughly. Do not discard excess from glass.   Add all other ingredients into glass and top with ice. Stir, and garnish with an Granny Smith apple wheel 

*Recipe for cinnamon syrup: 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks. Boil water, add sugar and  cinnamon sticks and stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool before straining. Label and refrigerate for up to a week. Yields 1 ½ cups
