Highlander’s Duel

Makes one cocktail.

  • 1½ ounces Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
  • 1½ ounces medium roast coffee
  • ½ ounce orange juice
  • 1 ounce brown sugar vanilla simple syrup*
  • Orange slice for garnish

Combine ingredients, shake and strain into glass, and add orange slice to garnish.


*Brown Sugar and Vanilla Simple Syrup: boil 1¾ cups of water, add in 3 tablespoons vanilla extract, and 2 cups of brown sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool slightly before straining into squeeze bottle. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
