Apple Tree Old Fashioned

1 sugar cube

Angostura Bitters

1 oz. apple brandy

1 ½ oz. VDC Cider Cask Finished Whisky  

2 slices sharp apple (such as Granny Smith or Fuji)

1. Place sugar cube in bottom of Old Fashioned glass

2. Splash 2 dashes of bitters and a few drops of water on cube and muddle

3. Add small handful of ice, brandy and whisky

4. Stir well

5. Use citrus juicer to add juice of 1 apple slice on top, garnish with 2^nd apple slice
