Our Whisky

Caffeinated Kilt

Makes one cocktail.

  • ¾ ounce brown sugar and vanilla simple syrup*
  • 1½ ounces Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
  • 6 ounces freshly brewed Trager Bros. coffee
  • Vanilla bean whipped cream and brown sugar for topping

Combine ingredients in a mug and stir.  Top with vanilla bean whipped cream and sprinkle of brown sugar.

 

*Brown Sugar and Vanilla Simple Syrup: 2 cups brown sugar, 1¾ cups water, 3 tablespoons vanilla extract; Boil ingredients, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool slightly before straining. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
