DISTILLERY ENGINEER
Building an authentic distillery represents a substantial investment and a complex design task. For this task, VDC brought in Harry Coburn, who has spent many years managing distilleries and has overseen the building of them in such diverse places as Cape Breton, Bhutan and Korea. He oversaw the purchase of the equipment, the layout of the building, the design of the intricate stills, mashtuns, pumps and piping that come together to make the famous Uisge beatha — water of life.
