The Virginia Distillery Company’s home, Eades Hollow, is located in beautiful Nelson County on US Route 29 in Lovingston. We are only 25 minutes from Wintergreen Resort and the city of Charlottesville; just a day trip from Richmond and Washington D.C. We are pleased to be part of a thriving community of wineries, breweries and other distilleries in this beautiful Commonwealth.

Small batch, artisan distillers are changing the experience
of drinking spirits in America. All across America craftsmen
are creating award-winning, distilled spirits and developing
strong followings among knowledgeable patrons. The Virginia
Distillery Company’s commitment to making the finest malt
whisky is at the forefront of this movement.
While our single malt ages, we are making and selling Eades Double Malt Whisky.
For each Eades Whisky, two malts from Scotland’s best-known
whisky regions – Islay, Speyside and Highland – are paired to
showcase the flavour profile the region is known for.
Meanwhile, we are completing a truly authentic single malt distillery in
Nelson County, Virginia, surrounded by the Blue Ridge
mountains. Just south of Charlottesville, our distillery
features traditional copper stills made in Scotland and a
commitment to the Scottish distilling craft. We will be selling
advance casks in Fall 2011 to single malt enthusiasts. The
remainder of our first production will be put aside to age for
at least four years. Meanwhile, please enjoy our Eades Double Malt.
